At Danfoss Drives, they use a variety of simulation tools: electrical, mechanical and thermal simulation, 3D ECAD and MCAD. These tools reduce the development time of new products, allow them to realize better thought-out designs and ensure the highest quality of our AC drives.

The Drives Configurator is a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use tool that allows you to select and configure a VLT® or VACON® AC drive that exactly matches your requirements. It also allows you to quickly source available spare parts and accessories for both current and older products.
The Drive Configurator generates a unique order number for the AC drive you need. This eliminates input errors and ensures traceability during the manufacturing process and throughout the lifetime of the drive.
