DEHN - Safety Equipment

Working safely? Protect yourself against arc flashes with DEHNcare

When working on electrical installations, a commonly underestimated hazard lurks: the arc flash. It can be caused by technical defects, operating errors, contamination, vermin, or even falling tools. A risk that can’t be eliminated entirely – but it can be proactively managed with the right personal protective equipment (PPE).

DEHNcare PPE: Developed for those working close to danger

DEHNcare offers a complete range of PPE against arc flashes, specifically designed for electrically skilled professionals. Comfort and ease of wear are essential, but even more important is the reliable protection DEHNcare provides – when worn correctly and consistently.

  • ArcFit clothing complies with APC 2 / PPE category 4 and is suitable for work on installations with high energy levels. The High-Level Protection (HLP) garments protect against energy levels up to ATPV: 63 cal/cm² and ELIM: 58 cal/cm² – ideal for low and medium voltage switchgear.

  • Functional underwear (undershirts, briefs, polos) increases the level of protection. Following the layered clothing principle, a higher protection class can be achieved. Each layer adds extra safety.

  • Protective gloves provide essential protection where the risk of arc flash contact is highest: the hands. Since hands come very close to danger zones, they must be reliably protected (protection up to ATPV 40 cal/cm²).

  • Helmets, visors, and balaclavas protect the head, face, and eyes from burns, flying particles, and heat. DEHNcare visors are clear, scratch-resistant, and highly durable (ATPV: 14 cal/cm² or 25 cal/cm²).

With DEHNcare, you increase not only personal safety, but also fire protection and the availability of your electrical installations. Investing in PPE means investing in continuity and peace of mind.

Avebe - A Good Night’s Sleep Thanks to FactoryScan
Companies often have no clear idea of the installed base of industrial automation in their factories and warehouses. With FactoryScan, itsme can provide an overview of the current status of automation components such as PLCs. Potato processor Royal Avebe uses the results to update their component stock and assess future availability. The scan is intended to reduce the number of hardware-related disruptions Process Control Engineer Johan Wierenga has to deal with. It also helps him sleep better, knowing the stock is up to date.
