Eaton - New configuration software for Halyester
The Eaton configurator xEnergy concerns advanced software for designing Eaton distribution systems, including main busbar systems and a comprehensive range of protection and switching components. Since January 2023, the configurator also includes the modular plastic distribution system Halyester.
Anyone working in electrical engineering is familiar with our Halyester plastic distribution system.
Due to its excellent properties and versatility, the system is used in many segments, such as industry, petrochemicals, utilities, construction, agriculture, infrastructure and mechanical engineering.
However, Halyester also plays a major role in the energy transition where many distributors are needed to secure and distribute generated solar energy and power charging stations.
Halyester's proven and assembled enclosures provide great security for designing and applying distributors suitable for the large simultaneous powers of EV and PV.
The plastic enclosure makes the distributors capable of operating extremely durable, for decades, in both indoor and outdoor setups.
To make putting together Halyester as easy as possible, Halyester is now integrated into the Eaton xEnergy Configurator. This allows Eaton to offer 1 integral platform for all plastic and sheet steel distributors from ≈ 100 A.
The xEnergy configurator now includes Halyester, xEnergy Safety, xEnergy Basic, xEnergy Light and exclusively for license partners the large distribution systems xEnergy Main and xEnergy Elite. The software can be used on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 in both Dutch and English.
1 user experience for all these systems, including all switching and security components! 
Note: Existing users of the Configurator xEnergy will need to apply for a new license this year (2023) to use Halyester. Please contact Eaton for additional assistance in applying for your license.
