Personal protective equipment

Fortunately, most of our customers are now properly supplied with personal protective equipment preventing the transmission of viruses. Nevertheless, the demand for PPE remains high from a worldwide perspective. We ensure sufficient inventory levels to be able to supply you if necessary.

We have, for example, disposable powder-free vinyl gloves available from stock. These are approved for use in industrial environments, such as the pharmaceutical and food industries. In addition, they are tested and approved for their ability to protect against viruses. All certifications are available.

Information on delivery times

We have been in close contact with our suppliers since the beginning of February. We will continue to share important information regarding changed delivery times with our customers as long as required; even now many rules have been relaxed and we are slowly returning to a more normal situation.

If you register yourself on our digital platform you can view the current delivery status of your orders at any given time. You can also subscribe to these orders to receive a notification if the expected delivery changes.

​​​​​​​Update Janssen Vaccines

Update 25 June 2020 - Janssen Vaccines, which together with Janssen Biologics is part of Janssen Netherlands, will start with testing a corona vaccine on humans in the second half of July. Owner Johnson & Johnson announced this in a press release. Thanks to the company's earlier positive results in developing a vaccine, the drug authorities have granted permission to start this next phase in the upcoming month. Read more...

We will soon be offering a selection of Siemens training courses as one-day online variants.

One of our product specialists will guide you through all the possibilities of TIA Portal or S7 Classic during this day.
Explanation is alternated with exercises, and you will receive all the support you need.

The practice day at an itsme location would be a valuable addition. You will be put to work intensively, receiving a certificate afterwards. It goes without saying that we have taken all measures enabling responsible participation. This practice day is also ideal as a refresher course.

Also remote support for your complex technical challenges

As of 1 June we can visit you on-site again upon request to help solve your more complex technical issues. It goes without saying that we adhere to a number of measures that put both your and our health first. If coming on-site is not possible (yet), our experienced specialists are perfectly able to provide remote assistance.

We recently supported our client Tullp in Raamsdonksveer remotely during a number of sessions in converting outdated software to a newer version, making it compatible with new hardware. Through TeamViewer, we were able to monitor Tullp's systems and, when necessary, take over. Sjoerd Kivits, service manager Tullp: “Everything was available to enable smooth support: tools, knowledge, speed. This way, we didn't have to wait until on-site visits would be possible again. ”

We do our best to make it as easy as possible for you. That is why you have access via "MyCenters" to extensive options that simplify your daily work. The unique functionality of MyCenters has developed itsme especially for Machine builders and Industrial end users!

For example, under "Open orders" you can easily view your open orders 24/7, both online and normal orders. Here you can see not only the delivery date you requested, but also the real-time expected delivery date based on confirmed availability in our supply chain. In addition, you can consult all related information directly in your Open Orders overview. And all this information is easy to download and print. Our measures to guarantee transport and delivery of your orders

itsme has introduced an escalation model for our own transport, which absorbs the possible absenteeism of our own drivers by our own people. If that is not possible, an experienced courier service linked to the route will be deployed. Our employees remain closely involved in this, so that customers with special access requirements (e.g keys), continue to be supported in their trusted manner. We are in direct contact with our external carriers, who indicate that they still have everything under control.

Availability of VMI/2BIN Systems

At the moment, our employees cannot visit you to take up and replenish your stock. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to scan your stock. To avoid a shortage of materials, you can inform us of your stock replenishment and / or buffer stocks, so that we can still take care of your delivery at the desired delivery location. Unloading your 2Bin / VMI cannot be done by our employees. Distribution of orders

To ensure the continuity of our logistics services, we have made changes to the organisation of our Distribution Center and our Transport so that we perform as you expect from us. We have also made adjustments for the input and monitoring of your orders. Via this new web platform, our customers are also able to enter orders (and quotations) for a range of 1 million electrotechnical and mechanical articles.
