Turck - LED matrix display from Turck with status display and plain text

Robust multifunctional display SD50 simplifies communication of machine or process information in industrial environments

Turck is expanding its portfolio of LED displays with the programmable matrix LED display SD50. The display for visualising machine, process or operator data provides information about operating states, process steps or faults in a way that is easy to read and visible from a distance. Typical areas of application include order picking stations, mobile robots (AGVs), transport systems or machine control panels. The white 8×96 LED matrix is supplemented on each side by eight multi-coloured RGB LEDs that visualise easy-to-interpret status signals. The 300 × 50 mm module has an IP65 housing with an M12 plug connection.

Turck offers the SD50 in three communication variants: Discrete Control, IO-Link and Modbus RTU. The module is configured using the free Pro-Editor software. This allows the user to set whether the SD50 functions as a text display, displays measured values or visualises timers or counters without the need for programming. These modes make it suitable for both simple signal applications and data-based visualisations directly from the control system. Depending on the model, the SD50 displays up to 16 static or 32 running characters.

    Sick - SensingCam SEC100-110
The sensingCam SEC100 is an affordable and user-friendly streaming camera that has been specially developed for industrial use. The camera provides a live stream, allowing critical processes and areas that are not visible to be monitored. With its integrated image recording function, the device can capture images, for example for quality documentation. In the event of unplanned machine stops and sporadic malfunctions, the event recording function helps to quickly analyse the cause by recording event videos before and after a trigger signal. Festo - SFAM
Because the SFAM is a pressure and flow sensor in one, machines need only one component to measure multiple values. By measuring compressed air pressure, flow and consumption, among other things, the SFAM provides full insight into the compressed air system. This insight is the first step in a more economical, safe and sustainable system.

Avebe - A Good Night’s Sleep Thanks to FactoryScan
Companies often have no clear idea of the installed base of industrial automation in their factories and warehouses. With FactoryScan, itsme can provide an overview of the current status of automation components such as PLCs. Potato processor Royal Avebe uses the results to update their component stock and assess future availability. The scan is intended to reduce the number of hardware-related disruptions Process Control Engineer Johan Wierenga has to deal with. It also helps him sleep better, knowing the stock is up to date.
