Sick - SensingCam SEC100-110
Industrial streaming camera for process monitoring, documentation and error analysis
The SensingCam SEC100 is an affordable and user-friendly streaming camera specifically developed for industrial use. The camera provides a live stream, allowing critical processes and non-visible areas to be monitored. With its integrated image capture function, the device can take pictures, for example for quality documentation. In the event of unplanned machine stops and sporadic malfunctions, the event recording function helps to quickly analyze the cause by recording event videos before and after a trigger signal.
Applications include:
- Streaming: The SensingCam SEC100 enables live streaming for monitoring critical processes and hard-to-see areas. The RTSP and MJPEG stream and the REST API make it easy to integrate the live feed into existing systems such as HMIs or displays.
- Image capture: With the integrated image capture function, the camera can take pictures for quality documentation. This is particularly useful for service providers in the shipping industry to document the quality and completeness of shipped goods.
- Event recording: In the event of unplanned machine stops and sporadic failures, the event recording function helps to quickly analyze the root cause. The camera records event videos before and after a trigger signal, ideally displaying the error sequence.
Key benefits at a glance: quick analysis of sporadic machine errors thanks to the Event Recording function, real-time monitoring of non-visible areas, image capture for product quality documentation, and quick, easy commissioning without additional software. In addition, the camera is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
The SensingCam comes in two versions: 100 (streaming and recording) and 110 (including event recording).
