...as late as possible, as early as necessary...

Mico Pro is Murrelektronik's innovative power monitoring system for use in 12 and 24 VDC applications with patented switch-off technology. Thanks to its modular structure, the system can be precisely tailored to the required application. This results in a very favourable cost-benefit effect.

In addition, the system can be used very flexibly and takes up very little space. The patented switch-off characteristic ensures that your machine remains optimally usable. An additional advantage: an integrated concept for the distribution of potential that significantly reduces the amount of wiring in the switch cabinet.

Mico Pro stands for:

  • Modular - down to the last channel
  • Integrated potential distribution concept - for a significant simplification of the control cabinet wiring
  • Easy handling - tool-free assembly
  • Diagnosis - on-site or via the control unit
  • Channel-related switching - replaces additional interface modules
  • Full Power - with integrated AC/DC power supply

ImageThis intelligent system from Murrelektronik ensures consistent protection of all load and control currents and recognises critical moments in time. Mico Pro detects limit loads and switches off the affected channels in a targeted manner, in order to prevent a complete power failure and thus to guarantee the highest possible level of machine utilisation. The patented switch-off characteristic works according to the principle: "As late as possible, as early as necessary" because TIME IS MONEY!

With MICO Pro, you save time as well as money. The MICO pro can be switched on and off directly via the control system (PLC), so no contactors, relays or optocouplers are required, and the convenient integrated potential distribution also makes additional terminals superfluous.

These are just some of the advantages of the MICO Pro. Want to see all the features?

Elektro Internationaal - Unburdening with Vendor Managed Inventory
Optimising internal logistics is often a challenge for panel builders, from grab stock management to getting a grip on delivery times. Especially when production is spread across multiple sites, like at Elektro Internationaal (EI) in Woerden. In 2016, the company already took a big step, together with itsme Connected Business, at their batch production site. This was related to the introduction of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) in the form of a 2BIN system. In the near future, EI expects to start the construction of new premises, whereby all activities will be brought under one roof. At that point, the logistics for the entire production will also be optimised.
