WIBE – Faster, safer, and drill-free

The Double Hanger BM

Installing cable support systems onto beams is a common task in industrial environments, but often also a time-consuming one. Traditional mounting requires drilling into the beams, which can compromise the structural integrity and cause issues during inspections. Moreover, it demands many installation components and preparation time.

That’s why WIBE developed an innovative solution to eliminate these drawbacks: the Double Hanger BM. This new Double Hanger BM allows for fast and safe installation of cable support systems onto I-beams — completely without drilling or cutting.

The hanger consists of a wide ceiling plate that is centrally positioned under the I-beam (200–300 mm wide) and clamped to the flange using special brackets and bolts. Thanks to specially designed grooves in the ceiling plate, the brackets are locked in place, securing the hanger firmly and preventing it from shifting or loosening. This not only simplifies the installation process but also results in significant time and cost savings, with reduced logistical burden on-site.

The Double Hanger BM is an addition to the existing range of double hangers (type 20, 20F, and 20FS) and is available in hot-dip galvanized steel for C4 environments. Lengths range from 0.5 to 6 meters. The corresponding brackets and mounting kits are available separately in four lengths, suitable for flange thicknesses of 0 to 40 mm.

Your benefits:

  • For vertical installation of cable support systems on I-beams (200–300 mm).

  • Compatible with WIBE 6BK brackets and mounting kits.

  • Installation without drilling or cutting, with a maximum torque of 50 Nm.

A reliable solution for efficient installation in all industrial projects.
